I was trying to post videos every night, and having a videos of just one baby each night. Like I did for Carolyn last night, but the internet or Blogger do not like my idea. So after 2 hours of trying to upload a 45 second clip I gave up. I thought I should at least do a new post with pictures. These are from tonight just before baths. The costumes are the same ones they wore for Halloween, and fit just a bit better. Actually they fit way better and I'm so excited we kept them :

Wakey Wakey

I thought it would be fun to see how the babies act when they first wake up. I took a short video of each of them this morning to show why I love waking up early on the weekend!

The first one is of Max. It is dark because I had the lights off at first. I will try again tomorrow with better lighting. :)

I tried to upload Carolyn's video for 4-5 hours. It never uploaded even though it was around the same length as everyone else. I will try again tomorrow.

High Risk Appointment

We had our high risk appointment yesterday at MUSC. We arrived an hour early because I had the times mixed up and thought our appointment was at 1130. It worked out well though because we were able to feed them before the appointment.
Aiden, Max & Alexis are dropping down from 27 calories to 24 calories while Carolyn stays at 27 because she is still on the small side. Max is around 3 months developmentally while everyone else is 2-2.5 months. This is right on track for them. We are going back in a few months for another evaluation, but before then they told us they want us in physical therapy. We are also to do more tummy time. We also did the pea pod where they measure the body fat of each baby. Ours are doing really well & Max has the highest percentage of body fat. Alexis had the lowest percentage, but still looks great for a preemie!

Here is to a Happy New Year filled with stupid questions

People always say there is no stupid question...they clearly do not have quadruplets.

Me: Yes I need to reschedule my appointment because I won't be in town. Also why does Aiden have an appointment, but the other three do not?

Lady: ::Silence:: Excuse me?

Me: Why don't they all have an appointment because they are quadruplets?

Lady: Do they all have the same birth date?

Lady: So on your chart I saw you wrote quad pregnancy...does that mean you were pregnant with quadruplets?

Me: Yes.

Lady: How did that turn out?

Me: They were born in August.

Lady: Oh wow!

I also love when "I have quadruplets" is answered with "How many is that?".

Aiden too tired for pictures
Aiden has been trying to catch Max for a while now for the biggest, but so far it hasn't happened. He is hoping to be the biggest at the weigh in for their RSV shots. We shall see! He is smiling more and more, and is sleeping a lot better!

Maxwell

Max is still the biggest, but has been eating rather slow. By the time the last feeding is over he is passed out. He is doing really well, and drooling a lot!

Alexis
Alexis is the first to give a real giggle. The others are on the verge, but she actually will laugh if you get her going enough. She is still spitting up a lot, but thankfully we own a carpet cleaner.

Carolyn
Carolyn is still stingy with her smiles. For every ten hours of no smiles you get 2 minutes of smiles. The smiles are so worth it though! She is also spitting up a lot. No matter how much you burp her she will spit up once you put her down.
