Sickly and Youtube

We’ve been sick here, and when I say sick I mean two hospital visits, and a week out of daycare.

Aiden went to the hospital because daycare thought he had aspirated his pizza.  Turns out it was only a coincidence he was eating pizza during a coughing spell and actually had croup.  Alexis and Carolyn were the next to make a visit to the ER with Alexis—upper respiratory infection and Carolyn – ear infection (second in a month).  Carolyn was out of daycare for about 3 days, and Alexis hasn’t made it back yet.  She is still not feeling good, but is improving more and more each day.  The rest she gets at home helps a lot.

Since it has been a while I’ll go ahead and update you all with pictures.

100% crackhead cuteness!  His hair was shocking at first when Andy brought him home, but since I have gotten use to it.  So glad too because it made me sad to see the little almost bald.

He does this a lot!  Especially when he doesn’t get away with whatever he is doing.

Cattie came to us last Christmas from Auntie Ri and Uncle Max.  She wasn’t played with much, but Alexis would squeal in delight when I brought her out.  So eventually she stayed out of the closet for good.  Before Cattie only slept in the crib while Alexis was out and about playing.  She waited on Alexis to come nap with her, and then slowly she started escaping more and more.  Now Cattie almost always gets out of the crib when Alexis does, and if someone touches her Alexis starts to cry.  Cattie is not shared, and when Momma had to wash her last night Alexis sat up in her crib and cried until Momma found something acceptable.  It turned out that the acceptable replacement was a Brown Bear with the same type of fabric as Cattie, and also sent by Auntie Ri and Uncle Max last Christmas.  When I walked into the room this morning Brown Bear was cast aside and Alexis was lovingly petting sweet Cattie.  I must find a backup Cattie.  Now.

A Glimpse At Everyday Life

These are every day images from my cell phone camera.  I’ve seen these posts recently on several blogs, and it is always fun to look through pictures that are caught in the moment.  These are our moments.

Choo Choo & Playground Adventures

Step2 finally released the Choo Choo wagon, and we got one!  Thanks to Andy’s parents and my grandparents we are the proud owners of a four seater wagon.  Smile

007

008

Sometimes when we’re out for a choo choo ride we get stopped by people driving past, and sometimes we get stopped by people in their yards.  The choo choo wagon always gets attention.  Maxwell loves the wagon and will laugh or clap most of the ride.  Since it’s started getting cooler we haven’t been able to go since the babies didn’t have hats.  So I had to make some hats for them so we could continue our choo choo adventures.

006

I made these hats late last night and early this morning so we could go to the playground on base.  They were great and kept them on the entire time!

We’ve never been to a playground before so we decided we would head over to base this morning and see how the kiddos would do and if they had anything age appropriate for them.  It was the best Saturday morning I can ever remember.  They have a really nice playground with a soft ground and a lot of things the babies could play around.  They really enjoyed being outside and having free roam.  Here are some pictures from our morning adventure.
